The Easter Bunny is in trouble! The egg factory is malfunctioning and eggs are falling off the conveyors! You're Eggsavier, Easter Bunny's deputy and it's your job to rescue as many falling eggs as you can.

Choose from one of three difficulty levels and help save Easter!

Speed increases as you rescue more eggs.

In virus mode you must avoid catching viruses to stay alive, but you won't know where they'll fall!

This is an actual Atari Lynx game, so you will need an Atari Lynx emulator to play it or use one of the many Flash/SD or Homebrew carts to play it on a real Lynx. You can also play it online over at Atari Gamer right in your browser.

About

This game is made as a homage to the long popular LCD "Game & Watch" games. The play screen uses simple graphics and static animations. There are multiple game modes that alter how many eggs can fall at the same time.

The game was originally released in 2019 as part of Atari Gamer's Easter celebrations.

In 2020 this game was enhanced with updated graphics and an all new 'virus' mode where instead of catching eggs, you have to avoid catching a virus and dying.

How to Play

Move the Eggsavier left or right to catch falling eggs, or in virus mode to avoid falling viruses. That's all there is to it, how long can you keep it up?

Atari Lynx Development

If you are interested in developing your own games for Atari Lynx, check out the Programming Resources page. Lynx is one of the easiest retro game consoles to get started coding with, and right now Atari Gamer is running a game jam where you can win some really amazing prizes. So if you have an idea for a game, don't hold back, code it for the Lynx!

Is there any plans for a physical release?

Hello, yes there is, probably together with the original (not 2020) version of the game. I'll be ordering a batch of Lynx cartridge PCBs in July just for this purpose. Hopefully I can get something released in August/September.  ðŸ˜»
